Tattoo Convention Season

S1. E5. People, places, tattoos.

Things have been super busy lately as the world seems to build up some energy momentum from getting a little taste of sunshine! I'm going to have a quick little ramble and if you have been to any of the conventions lately, definitely kick around until the end for some treaties!

UKTTA

This time last month I worked the most recent edition of UK Top Tattoo Artists convention in Birmingham. Prep, logistics and physically working these weekends do take some extra time but it was super worth it, what another great event! The guys at UKTTA put on a top show and if you were ever thinking about going to a convention to see what they're all about, this is one I would for sure recommend. I met some super cool people, tattooed some even cooler people and managed to have some time to catch up with some old pals. They are hosting their next event in Manchester on the 8th - 9th August. I will be back there no doubt, so if you do find yourself reading this and you want to get super ahead of the curve, feel free to drop me a message if you're interested in getting tattooed there!

Things and stuff

Other than this, I've been busy starting a load of exciting new pieces in the studio with some really ace new clients, lots of ongoing work and getting to squeeze in some OG clients from years gone by. With a few extra projects outside of tattooing on the go too things have been pretty busy and it feels good! Excited to share a lot more on all of this at some point with you all.

Studio folk

Everyone at the studio has been busy too, working away on their own things. Dev had an amazing day tattooing, selling her original paintings and generally spreading anime joy at the Hand of Glory Project last month. Jade and Chlo have both been on some guest spots around the county and getting ready for convention season themselves. Next up is Big Tattoo Meltdown in Nottingham for Jade this weekend and Chlo will be heading out to York International Tattoo Convention next month. It feels like a very exciting, creative time within the studio and we're loving the energy all of you guys are bringing with you at the moment, shout out to yourselves.

What else?

Hmm... What else? I think there was some more important things to talk about but I wanted this to be short and sweet anyway, so I'm good with forgetting what it was. There is going to be some new and unique things happening at the studio soon so if you want to get priority updates on that, do join our club.

Oh, also, did you come and speak to me at UKTTA? If so, thank you. I had nothing but positive interactions with everyone there. Either drop me a message from my Artists section or from our General Enquiry page and quote UKTTAOFFER and grab yourself a little treat.

Much love.
