S1. E8. The one with some updates.
Hey guys!
What's new? As usual, we've been busy. I think a big part of life in general for everyone is just balancing, sometimes things have to take priority, which means other things drop down the list, and that's absolutely fine. The studio has been busy with lots of good projects old and new being worked on from everyone, so that's cool!
I'm going to carve out some time to recap and update you all on what's been going on but in the mean time, we're looking ahead a little and letting you know what to keep an eye on.
First up on the calendar, after a full week of tattooing in the studio we have a Life Drawing session on Sunday 12th. We welcome a fantastic model in Craig who will be creating some dynamic poses for you to draw from life. This session is for everyone, it is unled and untutored, it's about getting what you want from the time you spend here. Whether that's pushing yourself out of your comfort zone for a challenging morning, starting your day with some creativity or just having fun and surrounding yourself with supportive and likeminded people. Likely it will be just for the free snacks and that's totally cool too, no judgement here! There's more information if you're interested in coming along, follow the link below.
A couple of weeks after that, we're welcoming the talented El Dot for a 2 day guest spot. Joining us on 22nd and 23rd July from her studio, Lux Tattoo Studio in Manchester, expect obsessively neat Dotwork, Blackwork, Geometric or Black Trad. As of right now, there's a few limited spaces left for her visit, so if you're contemplating getting some work I'd strongly recommend sending her a DM over on Instagram pretty sharpish!
Then not too long after that, which we haven't officially announced yet (does this class as a scoop?) the whole team are heading over to Manchester to work the next iteration of the fantastic UKTTA Convention. 8th and 9th August, the gang will be there for what I'm sure will be another amazing event. Honestly, I'm not too sure what the weekend looks like for everyone, some might have space, some might be fully booked, I don't actually know! Best plan, if you want tattooing from someone, just drop them a message through our
Artists page and see if there's any spots, fingers crossed!
Beyond this we have lots of things going on individually and collectively so I'll be putting together more updates and exciting announcements, so keep your eyes peeled. There will be a load more tips and tricks coming your way too with an attempt to help navigate the confusing tattoo world, both as a client and an artist!
Speak soon guys.
Much love.
