F.A.Q
Have a little glance through some of the more common questions we've encountered over the years that might help you.
I want a tattoo, but where do I start?
It can be overwhelming at the start, so try to narrow down some key elements first, think; what kind of style do you like, where do you want the tattoo on your body, what is the subject matter you want. Checking out the work from our artists, who all have their own unique style and interests, might help give you some ideas. If you're still completely stumped, thats ok too, just head over to our enquiry page and we will take it from there.
How do I book an appointment?
Once you have decided on an artist that you want to book in with, simply follow the links directly on their profile section. If you're not too sure who is best suited for you, follow our enquiry form and we can take it from there.
What are your opening hours?
As we're not available without an appointment, our opening hours can vary. As a general rule though, usually someone will be around from 11am - 5pm.
How much does a tattoo cost?
As we are a fully custom tattoo studio, every tattoo and artist is different. Once you go through the enquiry stage each artist will discuss pricing and aim to give you an accurate as possible estimate. As a general rule the artists tend to range from charging an hourly rate or full day rates.
How can I pay for my tattoo?
Each artist is different so discuss this with them on enquiry if needed. Please note that we do not have a card machine at the studio.
What age do I need to be for a tattoo?
Under the tattooing of minors act 1969, it is an offence to tattoo a person under the age of 18 in the UK. Under absolutely no circumstances will we ever tattoo anyone under the age of 18.
Can I use numbing cream?
We never recommend using numbing cream for your tattoo session for a multitude of different reasons but we advise you speak with your artist directly for more information. If you attend your appointment with numbing cream on, without speaking to your artist prior, we reserve the right to refuse to tattoo you and a full compensation fee might be required.
I'm diabetic, can I get a tattoo?
Yes, but it can require more planning. We always recommend speaking to your doctor or a health professional prior if you are planning on getting a tattoo. Speak to your artist too and make sure they're aware and happy to go ahead.
Can I get a tattoo whilst pregnant?
Though technically not illegal to get tattooed whilst pregnant, we strongly advise against it. Your health, safety and well-being is paramount to us so as a result, we will strictly never tattoo you if you are pregnant.
Can I get the addition of memorial ashes?
No, we will never tattoo you with the addition of memorial ashes of any kind. Anything that we put into your skin is of the utmost importance to us and as a result, we will only ever tattoo you with products that are sterile and that we have access to all required safety data sheets and certificates of compliance.
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Unless there is special circumstances, we kindly ask for you to attend your appointment alone. If you need to discuss this, please speak to your artist during the enquiry stage prior to your appointment.
Is there anything I need to do prior?
We will aim to send you out a Welcome Pack full of information prior to your appointment but generally, your artist will cover everything with you personally on the lead up to your appointment. We're always on hand to respond to any queries you might have as quickly as we can, so if you are unsure about anything, get in touch.
What is the aftercare process?
We will talk through everything with you after your appointment and also aim to send you an aftercare form, complete with all the information you should need for healing your tattoo as best as you can.
Do you offer piercings too?
No, at this moment we do not offer piercings.
